Yankee apple cake ingredients:

2	cup	Sugar
2	cup	flour
4		Eggs
3	tsp.	baking powder
1/2	cup	Oil
3	tsp.	vanilla
1/3	cup	Orange juice
1/4	tsp.	Salt
		APPLE MIXTURE:
4	large	Apples, peeled, cored and
		Sliced
4	tsp.	Sugar
1	tsp.	Cinnamon

Yankee apple cake preparation:

1. Beat everything but apple mixture with mixer for 10 minutes.

2. Grease 2 loaf pans or 1 tube pan and make several layers of batter and apples, beginning with batter and ending with apples.

3. Bake at 350^ for 1 hour or until tester is dry when inserted in center.

4. A tube pan will take 10-15 minutes longer.

5. (if glass pans are used, turn oven to 325^ after first 10 minutes) recipe by : come savor swansea.
