Tea Cakes ingredients:

6		Eggs
4	cup	Sugar
4	tsp.	vanilla extract
1 1/2	cup	buttermilk
1	tsp.	Baking soda
8	cup	Self-Rising flour

Tea Cakes preparation:

1. Cream shortening and sugar.

2. Add eggs one at a time.

3. Add baking soda to buttermilk and flour.

4. Add other ingredients.

5. Form into large soft ball and roll 1/8 thick.

6. Cut with floured cutter.

7. Bake until light brown.
