Saucepan gum drop bars ingredients:

1/3	cup	-Shortening
1	cup	Brown sugar
1	tsp.	vanilla
1	cup	flour
1 1/4	tsp.	baking powder
1/2	tsp.	Salt
1		Eggs
2/3	cup	Finely chopped gum drops
2	tbsp.	Water after vanilla

Saucepan gum drop bars preparation:

1. Melt shortening in saucepan, remove from heat and add sugar, vanilla.

2. Water, flour, baking powder and salt.

3. mix well, beat in egg, stir in gum drops.

4. Pour into greased 8 " square pan and bake in 350°F.

5. oven 30 min. cool and cut in squares.
