Sara Lee's Pound Cake recipe

Sara Lee's Pound Cake ingredients:

1/2 lb Real butter or margarine
2 cup powdered sugar.
2 large Eggs
3 tbsp. Sour cream
1 2/3 cup flour
1 tbsp. Lemon extract or vanilla

Sara Lee's Pound Cake preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 325~.
2. Spray 8-1/2 Pyrex loaf dish with Pam. Cream butter with sugar on high speed of mixer for 5 minutes.
3. Add 1 egg and then a little flour, beating 2 minutes.
4. Add 2nd egg and half of remaining flour and beat 2 minutes.
5. Add sour cream, rest of flour and extract, beating 2 minutes.
6. Spread batter evenly in dish.
7. Bake for 65 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
8. Remove from dish.
9. Slice 1/2 thick.
10. Be sure to slice before freezing loaf.
11. Thaw to use within 6 months.
