Regal Carrot Cake recipe

Regal Carrot Cake ingredients:

2 cup Sugar
3 1/3 cup All-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Nutmeg
2 tsp. Cinnamon
4 Eggs; beat
1 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cup Finely grated raw carrots
1 cup Chopped pecans

Regal Carrot Cake preparation:

1. In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
2. Make a well in center.
3. Combine eggs, oil and vanilla; pour into the well.
4. Beat with a large wooden spoon until batter is smooth.
5. fold in grated carrots and pecans.
6. Turn into a well-greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake in 325 oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until top springs back when lightly pressed with fingertips.
7. Cool cake on rack for 1 hour.
8. Remove cake from pan and frost with orange cream cheese frosting.
