Red Velvet Cake 6 ingredients:

1/2	cup	-Shortening
1 1/2	cup	Sugar
2		Eggs
2	tbsp.	Cocoa
2	oz.	Red food coloring
1	tsp.	vanilla
2 1/4	cup	Cake flour
1	tsp.	Salt
1	cup	buttermilk
1 1/2	tsp.	Baking soda
1	tsp.	Vinegar
		Frosting:
5 1/2	tbsp.	flour
1	cup	Milk
1	cup	butter
1	cup	Sugar
1	tsp.	vanilla

Red Velvet Cake 6 preparation:

1. Cream shortening and sugar together.

2. Add eggs, coca, food coloring and vanilla;beat.

3. Stir in mixture of flour and salt alternately with buttermilk.

4. Mix soda vinegar, quickly stir into mixture, while still foaming.

5. Pour into two 8-inch layer pans or 13x9x2 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes.

6. Frosting Combine flour milk; cook until thickened, cool.

7. Add butter, sugar and vanilla beat well.
