Peanut Butter Candy Cake recipe

Peanut Butter Candy Cake ingredients:

1 pint Friendship Cake Starter
16 oz. Lite peaches -- sliced
20 oz. pineapple tidbits
3 Maraschino cherries; 6 oz Drained
7 1/2 cup Sugar
2 Pkg. Golden butter Cake Mixes
2 Pkg. Instant vanilla pudding mix
8 Eggs
1 1/3 cup Oil
2 cup Raisins -- optional
2 cup Walnuts -- optional
2 cup Pecans -- optional
2 cup Coconut -- optional

Peanut Butter Candy Cake preparation:

1. * Use 5 (. 6 ounce size) milk chocolate covered peanut butter cups.
2. Combine water and rolled oats; cool to room temp; set aside.
3. Cream together butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla; beat in eggs.
4. Blend in oatmeal mixture.
5. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; add to creamed mixture.
6. Beat 1 minute on medium speed.
7. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13x9x2-inch pan. Chop peanut butter cups and sprinkle on top of batter.
8. Do NOT stir.
9. Bake at 350~ for 40-45 minutes or until cake tests done.
10. For Frosting.
11. Melt butter in small saucepan.
12. Add chocolate and stir constantly over very low heat until melted.
13. Pour into small bowl.
14. Add remaining ingredients and beat until well blended.
15. Chill to spreading consistency, about 15 minutes.
16. Frost cake.
