Peach(Or Nectarine!) Dessert Cake ingredients:

2	cup	Sugar
1 1/4	cup	Vegetable Oil
4		Eggs
2	cup	flour
1	tsp.	Salt
2	tsp.	Baking soda
3	tsp.	Cinnamon
1 1/2	cup	pumpkin
1	cup	Chopped walnuts

Peach(Or Nectarine!) Dessert Cake preparation:

1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

2. Beat 1/2 cup sugar with shortening until light and creamy.

3. Add lemon rind, then eggs, one at a time; beat well.

4. Add flour in fourths, beating after each addition.

5. Spread half of batter in greased 8x8 inch pan. Top with peaches.

6. Mix 1/3 cup sugar, cinnamon and nuts; sprinkle over all. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees.

7. Serve warm, cut into squares and top with whipped cream, if desired.
