PEACH CHEESECAKE SMOOTH AND DREAMY recipe

PEACH CHEESECAKE SMOOTH AND DREAMY ingredients:

1/2 cup butter Or margarine
1/3 cup Sugar
1 1/2 cup Kellogg's Corn Flake Crumbs
1 can (30 oz.) peach halves, drained (reserve syrup)
1 Envelopes unflavored gelatin
2 Pkg. soft cream cheese -- (8 ounce)
1 can (14 oz.) Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
1 tube (4-1/2 oz.) frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup reserved peach syrup
1 tsp. Cornstarch

PEACH CHEESECAKE SMOOTH AND DREAMY preparation:

1. NO-BAKE CRUST: Cook butter and sugar in small saucepan until mixture boils: remove from heat.
2. Mix in Corn Flake Crumbs.
3. Reserve 2 tablespoons mixture for garnish: press remainder in bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Chill.
4. VELVETY CREAM CHEESE FILLING: Combine1/2 cup reserved syrup and gelatin stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves.
5. Reserve 4 or 5 peach halves for garnish: blend remaining peachs on high speed in blender until smooth.
6. Combine peach and gelatin mixtures; set aside.
7. In large bowl beat cheese until smooth.
8. Add sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice: mix well.
9. Stir in peach gelatin mixture.
10. Fold in whipped topping.
11. Turn into prepared pan. To garnish: slice reserved peach halves into pieces: arrange in two piece clusters around top of cheesecake.
12. Spoon peach glaze over top of cake.
13. Sprinkle crumbs around outer edge of cake.
14. Chill 3 hours.
15. EASY PEACH GLAZE: (optional) Cook and stir cornstarch and 1/2 cup reserved syrup until thick and clear.
16. Cool. Spoon glaze evenly over top of cake.
