Patty Ann's Chess Cakes ingredients:

1 recipe Pie Pastry Or
--Pastry Recipe--
1/4 lb butter
1 Pkg. cream cheese (3 oz.)
1 cup flour, all purpose, sifted
--Filling #1--
1 eggs -- lightly beaten
3/4 cup Brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter -- melted
1/2 cup Pecans -- finely chopped
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
--Filling #2--
1 eggs -- lightly beaten
3/4 cup Granulated sugar
1 tbsp. butter -- melted
2/3 cup shredded coconut (Angel Flake)
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Patty Ann's Chess Cakes preparation:

1. You will need mini-muffin tins for these cookies.
2. Oven 350 degrees F. FOR PASTRY SHELLS: Make recipe of pie pastry, roll out and cut rounds to fit muffin cups.
3. FOR CREAM CHEESE PASTRY: Mix together ingredients in medium bowl.
4. Divide equally among muffin tins.
5. Press in with fingers.
6. FOR FILLINGS: Mix all ingredients well in small bowl.
7. Place 1 teaspoon filling in each pastry-lined muffin cup. Bake in preheated oven at 350degrees F. for 20 minutes until done.
8. Run tip of sharp knive around tart when done to loosen.
9. Remove to wire racks to cool.
10. Store in tin box between layers of wax paper.
