Orange Walnut Rum Cake with Grand Marnier Ici ingredients:

***CAKE ***
9 oz. butter, salted
9 oz. Sugar
1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
4 large Eggs, beaten
1 2/3 cup Cake flour, about (sift before measuring!!)
1/2 cup Cornstarch
1 tsp. baking powder
-----FILLING-----
2 cup chocolate pudding
-(extra strong)
7 oz. butter, unsalted
1 2/3 cup Powdered 10X sugar
---FROSTING---
1 oz. Cocoa powder, bitter
1 oz. butter (sweet), melted
3 tsp. water, boiling
-(up to 4 T)

Orange Walnut Rum Cake with Grand Marnier Ici preparation:

1. Cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light.
2. Add fruit rinds; add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each.
3. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk, beating after each addition until smooth.
4. Fold in nuts.
5. Pour into greased 9 or 10-inch 2-quart tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
6. Strain fruit juices into saucepan.
7. Add sugar and rum; bring to boil.
8. Pour slowly over hot cake in pan. If all liquid is not absorbed, pour remainder on later.
9. FOR ICING: Bring butter to room temperature.
10. Mix all ingredients, adding enough Grand Marnier to make a spreading consistency.
11. Spread on cooled cake.
