Martha's Buttermilk Pound Cake ingredients:

24 Hershey's hugs or hugs with Almonds chocolates
24 Hershey's kisses or kisses with Almonds milk chocolates
3/4 cup butter Or margarine
Softened
2/3 cup Granulated sugar
2/3 cup Packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 Eggs
2 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 cup Milk
Frosting *

Martha's Buttermilk Pound Cake preparation:

1. Cake: Cream margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
3. Mix together the baking soda and buttermilk.
4. Combine flour and salt and add to creamed mixture 1 cup at a time alternating with the buttermilk.
5. Beat well after each addition.
6. Stir in the flavorings and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350{F in a 10 inch Bundt pan. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan. Lemon glaze: Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and pour over the cake allowing to drip over the edges.
