Maraschino cherry cake ingredients:

1 1/4	cup	Sugar
1/2	cup	-Shortening
1/4	cup	Juice from 5 oz. bottle cher ries
1/2	cup	Milk
		4 ea Egg whites
3	tsp.	baking powder
1/2	cup	Nut meats
5	oz.	Bottle Maraschino Cherries
2 1/4	cup	flour

Maraschino cherry cake preparation:

1. Flour nuts and cherries before cutting up cherries into quarters.

2. Add egg whites last.

3. Use 7-minute icing.

4. Note: cream shortening and sugar, add remaining ingredients.

5. Turn into pan. Bake in moderate 350°F.
