Layer Apple Cake ingredients:

5	large	apples unpeeled
2	tsp.	Cinnamon
2	cup	Sugar
1	cup	Vegetable Oil
1/2	cup	Orange juice
1	tsp.	vanilla
3	cup	unsifted -- flour
1	tsp.	vanilla
3	cup	Unsifted flour
3	tsp.	baking powder
1/2	tsp.	Salt

Layer Apple Cake preparation:

1. preheat oven to 35o F. Core and slice the apples in eighths.

2. Place in a large bowl and sprinkle with the cinnamon and 5 tablespoons sugar.

3. Beat eggs and gradually add remaining sugar oil, orange juice and vanilla.

4. Stift together flour, baking powder and salt.

5. Combine egg mixture.

6. Grease a tube pan and dust with floiur.

7. Pour 1/3 of the batter into the pan. Layer with 1/3 of the apples.

8. Repeted for 2 more layers, ending with apples on top. Bake 1 1/2 hours until golden on the top. Let sit a few minutes and then unmold.
