Lady Baltimore Cake Ii ingredients:

1/2 cup Teff
3 1/2 cup water
3/4 cup Chopped onion
1 each Jalapeno pepper, seeded &
-chopped
1 cup Whole-wheat pastry flour
1 tbsp. Sesame oil

Lady Baltimore Cake Ii preparation:

1. Cream butter.
2. Add gradually sugar which has been sifted before measuring.
3. Beat until smooth and creamy.
4. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt.
5. Combine milk and water.
6. Add alternately with dry ingredients to first mixture.
7. Add flavorings.
8. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
9. Pour into well-oiled layer cake pans.
10. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) about 35 minutes.
11. Use fruit and nut filling between layers and a boiled icing for top and sides.
