Heart Cake preparation: 1. Prepare Easy Yellow Cake as directed, except--pur batter into the following greased and floured baking pans: One 8-inch square and one 8-inch round or one 9-inch square and one 9-inch round. 2. Bake as directed. 3. After layers are cool, cut round layer in half. 4. Place square layer on large tray and place each half of the round layer on an adjoining side to form a heart shape, trimming ends of found layer to fit, if necessary. 5. Frost with Strawberry Frosting. 6. STRAWBERRY FROSTING 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, softened 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar (about 1 pound) 1 package (10 ounces) frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed Cream butter and sugar together in mixing bowl until light and fluffy. 7. Drain strawberries, reserving juice. 8. Blend strawberries into creamed mixture, adding reserved juice as needed to achieve desired spreading consistency. Useful options:
