Hawaiian Pound Cake recipe

Hawaiian Pound Cake ingredients:

1 cup Vegetable shortening; crisco
1 margarine
2 cup Sugar
6 Eggs
2 cup Cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. butternut flavoring
1 cup Flaked coconut
1 can Crushed Pineapple, small

Hawaiian Pound Cake preparation:

1. Drain pineapple and reserve the juice.
2. Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs (one at a time).
3. Add cake flour, vanilla, butternut flavoring, coconut and pineapple.
4. Bake in a 10 inch tube pan for 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
5. Icing: 2 c. sifted powdered sugar and juice from canned pineapple.
6. Mix well with mixer.
7. Pour over hot cake while still in pan. -----.
