German Chocolate Pound Cake recipe

German Chocolate Pound Cake ingredients:

2 cup Brown sugar
1 cup Vegetable Oil
4 Eggs
1/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Tequila
1 tsp. Salt
3 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Ground cloves
12 med Carrots, Peeled And Shredded
(approximately 5 cups)
5 small Fresh jalapenos, seeded and
Shredded
Cream Cheese Icing
2 Packages cream cheese
2 Sticks butter
4 cup Confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring

German Chocolate Pound Cake preparation:

1. Partially melt chocolate over hot water.
2. Remove and stir fast until melted.
3. Let cool.
4. Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs, flavoring, and buttermilk.
5. Mix well.
6. Add flour, soda and salt.
7. Mix well.
8. Blend in chocolate.
9. Pour into a well greased and floured 9-inch tube pan. Bake at 300~ for about 1 1/2 hours.
10. Remove from pan while hot and place under tightly covered container until thoroughly cooled.
