Friendship Prune Cake recipe

Friendship Prune Cake ingredients:

2 cup bisquick
1/4 cup Sugar (granulated)
1 each Eggs
2/3 cup Water or milk
2 tbsp. Creamy peanut butter
1 oz. Semi-sweet chocolate
1 1/2 tbsp. margarine or butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar.
1/2 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tbsp. Hot water
2/3 cup Chopped peanuts

Friendship Prune Cake preparation:

1. Be sure the starter is warm and very active.
2. Cream the shortening and sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating well.
3. Add starter and buttermilk ( be nice and gentle with the starter).
4. Sift and add dry ingredients, prunes and nuts.
5. Bake at 350 for abut 40 minutes in a well greased and floured cake tin (pan) about 9 x 13. NOTE: orange cream cheese icing is good on this.
6. Use Dates instead of prunes.
7. Can make 2 1/2 dosen cupcakes instead of cake but bake them only about 25 minutes Pat Dwigan -----.
