Favorite Chocolate Cake ingredients:

2 NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Unsweetened Chocolate Baking Bars
2 cup Granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter Or margarine
2 cup All-purpose flour
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup water
2 Eggs
1 tbsp. Lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
1/4 tsp. Salt

Favorite Chocolate Cake preparation:

1. MICROWAVE baking bars in small, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 1 minute; stir.
2. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth; cool to room temperature.
3. BEAT sugar and butter in large mixer bowl.
4. Add flour, milk, water, eggs, lemon juice, vanilla extract, baking powder, baking soda and salt; beat on low speed until blended.
5. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes.
6. Beat in melted chocolate.
7. POUR into two well-greased and floured 9-inch round baking pans or one 13 x 9-inch baking pan. BAKE in preheated 350° F. oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
8. Cool in pans for 20 minutes; invert onto wire racks to cool completely before frosting.
