Earth Cake ingredients:

1 1/2	cup	Boiling water or apple Juice
1	cup	Oats
4	oz.	margarine
1 1/2	cup	flour
1/2	tsp.	Salt
1	cup	White sugar
1	cup	Brown sugar (packed)
3		Eggs
1/2		To 1 cup raisins
1/2		To 1 cup chopped nuts (can be a mixture of nuts)
1	tsp.	Baking soda
1	tsp.	Nutmeg
1 1/2	tsp.	Cinnamon
1/2	tsp.	Ginger
1	tsp.	cloves
1	tsp.	vanilla
1	tsp.	Rum or rum flavoring
1	tsp.	brandy or brandy flavoring
3/4	cup	Sesame seeds
		Some poppy seeds

Earth Cake preparation:

1. Heat oven to 350. Grease a bundt pan well*.

2. Let oatmeal sit in water (juice) Cream butter and sugars.

3. Blend in eggs one at a time.

4. Stir in flavorings.

5. Dump in flour, salt, soda and spices.

6. Beat till smooth.

7. Slop in oats, stir, then pour in seeds, raisins, and nuts.

8. Bake 35-40 minutes.

9. Let cool 10 minutes, then turn onto plate.

10. *(or use mini bundt pans and adjust cooking times).
