Date cup cake ingredients:

1	cup	Dates, finely chopped
1	cup	Water, Hot
1	cup	Sugar
2	tsp.	butter
1		Eggs
1	tsp.	Baking soda
1 1/2	cup	flour
1/4	tsp.	Salt
1	tsp.	vanilla
1	cup	Walnut meats

Date cup cake preparation:

1. Pour water over dates and cool.

2. Cream sugar, butter and egg. Add dry ingredients, vanilla and nut meats.

3. Mix well and add to date mixture.

4. Batter is thin.

5. Bake in well-greased muffin tins.
