Cinnamon Coffee Cake (Sour Cream) recipe

Cinnamon Coffee Cake (Sour Cream) ingredients:

2 cup flour, whole
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Wheat germ, toasted
1 cup Brown sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 cup Walnuts, chopped
1 tsp. Salt
2 each Eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cup Apples, diced
1/2 cup Oil
2 tsp. Baking soda

Cinnamon Coffee Cake (Sour Cream) preparation:

1. In a large bowl, cream butter and 2 cups sugar until fluffy.
2. Add vanilla.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
5. Add alternately with sour cream, beating enough after each addition to keep batter smooth.
6. Spoon 1/3 of the batter into a greased 10 tube pan. Combine remaining sugar, cinnamon, and nuts.
7. Sprinkle over batter.
8. Repeat layers two more times.
9. Bake at 350 deg f for 70 minutes or until cake tests done.
10. Cool for 10 minutes, remove cake to wire rack to cool completely.
11. Makes 16 servings.
