Canadian cottage pudding (cake) ingredients:

CAKE
2 cup Plus
2 tbsp. All-purpose flour
2 cup Sugar
3/4 cup Cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. Baking soda
3/4 tsp. Salt
3 Eggs
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1 tbsp. vanilla
CHERRY TOPPING
2 can (20 oz size) tart pitted Cherries, undrained
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
Frosting:
3 cup Whipping cream
1/3 cup powdered sugar.

Canadian cottage pudding (cake) preparation:

1. Sift all dry ingrdeints into a bowl.
2. Add and beat in remainder of ingredients until batter is smooth.
3. Pour into a 9 inch greased square pan. Bake 375°F for 25 to 30 minutes or done.
4. cut in squares when warm.
5. Top with hot sauce.
6. for sauce: combine cornstarch and sugar.
7. Add juices and heat low and cook 5 minutes until thickened.
8. Stir in fruits.
9. sauce make about 3 cups.
