Cake squares "Eugenie" with peach ingredients:

1/2 cup margarine; OR
Half margarine half butter
cup Sugar
2 Eggs
3 oz. chocolate; melted
1 1/2 cup Milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. Red food coloring
2 cup cake flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
Salt
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
Frosting:
1/4 cup butter Or margarine
1 1/2 oz. chocolate; melted
1 Egg; beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pk powdered sugar.
1 cup pecans

Cake squares "Eugenie" with peach preparation:

1. CUT THE GENOISE IN TWO LAYERS.
2. PLACE ONE LAYER INTO A CAKE RING.
3. SOAK GELATINE LEAVES IN COLD WATER FOR 10 MIN. WARM DRAINED GELATINE WITH THE KIRSCH AND MIX IT WITH THE CREME PATISSIERE.
4. FOLD IN THE CREAM.
5. FILL THE CREAM INTO THE PREPARED CAKE RING AND PLACE THE SECOND LAYER OF GENOISE ON TOP CUT THE PEACHES INTO SLICES,PLACE THEM ON TOP AND CHILL DEMOULD THE EUGENIE,CUT INTO PIECES,PREPLATE AND TOP WITH THE COULIS DE FRAMBOISES DECORATE WITH CREAM AND ALMONDS.
