Apple Coffeecake ingredients:

1/2	cup	Brown sugar
2	tbsp.	flour
2	tbsp.	margarine
1	tsp.	Cinnamon
1/2	cup	Sugar
1/4	cup	-Shortening
1		Eggs
1/2	cup	Milk
1 1/2	cup	Unsifted flour
2	tsp.	baking powder
1/2	tsp.	Salt
2	cup	Thinly sliced apples

Apple Coffeecake preparation:

1. Blend brown sugar, *2* tbs flour, margerine and cinnamon in bowl,set aside.

2. Combine sugar,shortening and egg beating throughly.

3. Stir in milk.

4. Mix 1 1/2 c flour,baking powder and salt.

5. stir into egg mixture just until smooth.

6. Spread 1/2 the batter in a greased 9 in square pan. Cover with 1/2 the apples; top with 1/2 of the brown sugar mixture.

7. Repeat layers.

8. Bake at 375 for 45-50 min. -----.
